Judy MacKenney is an internationally recognized macrobiotic counselor, educator and cooking instructor. She is a certified holistic health counselor, C.O.R.E. educator and is a member of the American Society of Alternative Therapists. She currently counsels clients with varied health challenges, teaches, and co-directs The Way to Health program at Kushi Institute. Judy, with her husband, Larry, travels extensively with Harmony Haven Healing Arts, a company which she co-founded, that offers hands-on health and wellness workshops.
Judy was introduced to macrobiotics in 1992 after being diagnosed with terminal Stage IV non-Hodgkins Lymphoma. Her health recovery has been documented and featured in numerous health publications. She was also featured in an episode of The Incurables for television.




Larry MacKenney is a Kushi certified  macrobiotic educator and counselor. He is a certified holistic health counselor, C.O.R.E. educator and is a member of the American Society of Alternative Therapists. He currently teaches and co-directs The Way to Health program at Kushi Institute. He is a co-founder of Harmony Haven Healing Arts, a company that offers hands-on macrobiotic training for the healthy and health-challenged.
